Aah Youth- When did you leave –
Did you seek another to decieve-
Promise you would stay forever?
Aah Youth- Bountiful Youth-
Your table laden-and weighed down-
With dreams-and glorious promise-

You watched- as I danced and laughed and sang with others-
On Island Beaches-
Warm winds scorching my face- and my careless Heart-
You watched- as young limbs wrestled in joy-
With limbs of others-
And listened to Promises-and exchanges of Love-
Satiated by your Charms-
Aah Youth-Memory Maker-
Silent invader of my thoughts-
Guardian Keeper of Halcyon days— Farewell!
